The Gender Inclusive Guide was created in an effort to support academic faculty, staff, and leadership at the Midwives College of Utah in developing medical terminology, syllabi, lectures, and policies and procedures that are inclusive of all people.

Cognitive biases make our judgments irrational. We have evolved to use shortcuts in our thinking, which are often useful, but a cognitive bias means there’s a kind of misfiring going on causing us to lose objectivity. Here is a working document for scaffolding anti-racism resources. The goal is to facilitate growth for white folks to become allies, and eventually accomplices for anti-racist work. These resources have been ordered in an attempt to make them more accessible. We will continue to add resources.
