Currently enrolled at a MEAC school?

Your program has been independently reviewed against nationally recognized standards. Here's what that means for you and your education.

NARM exam eligibility

Graduates of MEAC-accredited programs qualify for the NARM CPM exam through the MEAC pathway. Contact NARM directly for current exam requirements.

Accreditation handbook

Understanding MEAC standards helps you know what your program is held to — and gives you language to advocate for your education.

Student complaint process

If you have concerns about your program's compliance with MEAC standards, you have the right to file a formal complaint. See Section G of the handbook.

Substantive change notices

MEAC posts public notices when accredited programs make significant changes. Stay informed about your program's accreditation status.

As a student at a MEAC-accredited school

Your program must maintain all ten MEAC accreditation standards for the duration of your enrollment.

You must be notified of any substantive changes that could affect your accreditation status or credential eligibility.

You have the right to file a complaint with MEAC if you believe your program has violated accreditation standards.

MEAC-accredited programs must provide student services and policies regarding academic standing, appeals, and grievances.
