The Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (“MEAC,” “we,” “us”) operates meacschools.org. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, the topic, and your message. When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard analytics data (such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type) through Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the site is used.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form.
• Send you our newsletter when you have asked to receive it.
• Understand and improve how visitors use the website.
• Protect the site against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

We rely on a few trusted third parties to operate the site. They process data only on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — hosting of our database and analytics.
• Resend — delivery of contact-form notifications and newsletter emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the newsletter signup.
• Cloudinary — image hosting and delivery.

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies at any time using the cookie preferences control in the site footer, and you can manage cookies through your browser settings.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email. We remove unsubscribed addresses from our mailing list.

We keep contact-form submissions and newsletter subscriptions only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and remove them when no longer required.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
